This is my cockatiel aviary that currently holds 18 rescued birds from various situations. Some came in together, some individually, some were found, others had life threatening injuries and were nursed back to health. Each one has a story. The life span of one of these birds is 15-20 years. Something to keep in mind when selecting a pet bird. ;)

I crapped my pants!" We thought that it would be fun to teach Ozzy to announce when he was getting ready to drop one of his "bombs" by using that line. He finally got it!

This is OJ's favorite spot to play. He lies on his back and uses the bars of the grill on the playstand to scoot along. He then proceeds to rip up the paper that is on the grid. Once spotted there he will come out and protect it with a menacing act and a loud scream. It is pretty cute. The talking in the background it my Grey, Ozzy.

$Coturnix Hen\$	Coturnix Hen's first egg Posted by: sootykitty Video duration: 42 seconds This is the first egg laid by one of my Coturnix Hens that live in the bottom of the parakeet aviary. You can also see the Button Quail in the video. They're the smaller birds. No eggs from them yet. Both types of Quail are about six months old.

I really believe that Senegals are of the notion that they are really macaw size birds. They sure do act tough for such little guys. JoJo treats this drawer as his own little house, or nest box. Here they are able to live out their lives in one large flock. They are an extremely happy group and welcome in newcomers without incident. They are a joy to watch as they play and flutter around their environment.

When I brought it home and was taking it out of the clear plastic bag he could hardly contain himself. Once I placed in on his tree he was hooked. He kept getting on and off all night. It is the new favorite thing!
